Lphant…uno spettacolo Emule alla 10a potenza

Ultimamente il simpatico mulo ha un po’ di problemi per dei server fasulli che filtrano le richieste…

ad esempio nn scarica kid rock o rihanna limitando a 0 le fonti disponibili…

Lphant Ã¨ un programma peer-to-peer scritto in C# in cui il codice del core Ã¨ indipendente dalla interfaccia grafica.

La caratteristica peculiare di Lphant Ã¨ di permettere la connessione su rete eDonkey e BitTorrent, con l’utilizzo anche di webcache. Con l’uscita della versione 3.50 Ã¨ stata aggiunta anche la possibilitÃ di connettersi alla rete Kademlia.

Per far funzionare correttamente il programma dobbiamo installare .NET Framework v2.0 per i sistemi Windows e Mono per i sistemi GNU/Linux e MacOS

* Lphant contiene l’adware “WhenUSave”, che dalla versione 3.00, Ã¨ possibile non installare durante l’installazione.

Lphant Ã¨ il primo programma di file sharing che permette la condivisione di file in contemporanea dai torrent e dalle reti Edonkey e Kad. Lphant Ã¨ il primo client multiprotocollo lato server, dove parti dello stesso file sono scaricate contemporaneamente con le 3 modalitÃ precedenti.

Altri programmi peer-to-peer erano multiprotocollo lato client, nel senso che consentivano di scegliere, in maniera alternativa, se scaricare un file dai torrent, dalla rete Kad o dalla rete Edonkey, quella usata da Emule.

Gli sviluppatori stanno integrando altre funzionalitÃ aggiuntive, giÃ presenti in altri client come Adunanza, Azureus, quali: offuscamento di protocollo, offuscamento dell’ID di rete P2P, supporto ai proxy server e tor, supporto al controllo da remoto.

Lphant Ã¨ una valida alternativa al famosissimo eMule.
